Situated in an elevated position in the heart of Cragg Vale - home of the Yorkshire Tour de France - Old Cragg Hall Barn is an eco-friendly award-winning conversion with outstanding views over the valley. Re-built from the remains of an original stone barn, this contemporary new home has an abundance of glass, solid oak floors, woodburning stove, granite worktops, bespoke LED lighting and a large stone flagged terrace for alfresco dining. New for 2017 is an additional TV/living room in the adjacent converted Stable with 55-inch smart TV and more wonderful views over the valley.
The Barn provides fabulous upside-down accommodation with window seats capturing dramatic views and original barn openings providing windows in the bedrooms downstairs. Carefully planned to offer luxurious eco-friendly accommodation, this superb holiday home has central under-floor heating provided by a ground source heat pump and a heat-recovering ventilation system. There is free WiFi internet and also a POD Point electric vehicle charging point.
From Old Cragg Hall Barn the bustling town of Hebden Bridge, "the 4th funkiest town in Europe", is approximately 3 miles and the Bronte village of Haworth and the National Trust Hardcastle Crags can be easily accessed too. For the outdoor enthusiast the Pennine Way and the Calderdale Way cross the valley, providing gentle strolling or energetic hiking.
