Can I make a booking for a short break?
We usually offer Friday-Friday bookings during the summer period and school holidays although we will take short break bookings 4 weeks before the start date if there is availability. Short breaks are available at all other times. Prices are shown for the most popular short breaks which are Friday-Monday or Monday-Friday, but we can often accept other combinations for which pricing is pro-rata.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
The deposit is £200, with the balance due 2 calendar months prior to your holiday. There is also a £250 refundable damage deposit, due 2 weeks prior to your holiday and refunded 1 week after.

How do I pay?
You can pay by cheque or balance transfer - please contact Angela for bank transfer details. Unfortunately we don’t currently take credit cards.

Is the property suitable for all ages?
Old Cragg Hall Barn is suitable for all ages, although due to the open plan nature of the living accommodation young children need to be supervised at all times. It is not possible to use stair gates at the property. There is an Access Statement available if required.

Where is the nearest shop/pub/restaurant etc.
The nearest shop is the Co-op in Mytholmroyd, approximately 2 miles away and is open 7am-10pm daily. Hebden Bridge has a wide range of independent shops and is approximately 4 miles away. There is an excellent country restaurant about 0.25 mile away (steep hill!) and a pub which also serves food about 1 mile away. Both Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge have a wide range of pubs, restaurants, cafes and take-aways.
Both Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge have a doctors surgery, dentist, chemist and optician, and both have petrol stations and cash machines.

Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, we don’t accept any pets.

Is Old Cragg Hall Barn accessible by public transport?
Yes, it's possible to get a train to Hebden Bridge (from either Leeds or Manchester) and then get a taxi to Old Cragg Hall Barn (approximately 4 miles).
